Custom-Fit Earplugs in Los Angeles
If you're in the Los Angeles area and interested in obtaining custom-fit earplugs, MEE audio offers a more streamlined process tailored for local customers who prefer to drop off their ear impressions and pick up the finished product at our office, located at 817 Lawson St. in City of Industry, CA.
The complete step-by-step process for getting earplugs locally in Los Angeles can be found below:
1. Place Your Order with MEE Audio
Select the custom-fit earplug model that best suits your needs. If you need help making a selection, see our article, Comparing MEE audio Custom Earplugs.
During the ordering process, choose the "Pickup In Store" option to indicate your preference for local pickup.
2. Schedule an Appointment with an Audiologist
After placing your order, book an appointment with a local audiologist to have your ear impressions taken. Be sure to show them a copy of our Audiologist Instruction Sheet.
Most audiologists will provide you with a physical set of impressions. However, if your audiologist gives you a digital scan of your impressions, that's okay too.
If you need an audiologist close to our office/drop-off location, we recommend Kun Hearing's City of Industry office, which is only a few blocks away.
3. Verify Your Ear Impressions
Once you have your ear impressions in hand, please email a few impression photos, together with your MEE audio order number, to impressions@meeaudio.com so that we can visually inspect them for any issues that may prevent a good fit for the completed product. This will help avoid production delays if the impressions are not adequate. Please follow the examples below to make sure your photos capture every angle of the impressions. If you have a digital scan of your impressions instead of physical impressions, simply email that file to us instead. Keep an eye on the email you used when placing your order — we typically approve impressions within one business day.
4. Drop Off Your Impressions
Once approved, label your impressions with your order number and drop them off at our office, located at:

Our office is typically open from 10am to 5pm, but sometimes may be open earlier or later. We recommend contacting us via website chat, email (support@meeaudio.com), or phone (626-965-1008) to confirm that you will be dropping off your impressions and to make sure our office is open.
5. Pick Up Your Custom Earplugs
After you drop off your impressions, we will continue to notify you via email as your earplugs move through the production process. Once your finished custom earplugs are ready for pickup, you will receive another email with pickup instructions. Upon receiving the notification, you'll know that we have them ready for you to pick up! Again, we recommend contacting us to let us know when you will pick up your order, especially if you want to pick them up before 10am or after 5pm.

If you need your earplugs faster than the typical 3-4 week production time, rush processing is available for an added cost.
